establishing our foundations in the faith, part 2

You are unique among all of God’s creation. As humans, not only are we the only species with such creative abilities or moral aptitude, we are also the only species on Earth able to have direct communication, and the indwelling of God Himself. For context, there are an estimated 8.7 million species on Earth, excluding humans, and a vast majority are undiscovered.

“Through Jesus Christ, God bridged the gap between divinity and humanity.

Because of Jesus Christ, we are afforded the privilege to host God in us. We were made by Him, but for Him, to be the extension of God’s Kingdom here on Earth (2 Cor. 3:18).

The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.
Colossians 1:15–16 NIV

However, as the songwriter said,

“…we live in a day and time where everyone wants to say the name God, but no one wants to say the name Jesus.”

Many say there are different paths to God. One may follow Allah, another may worship Buddha, or someone may choose to not believe at all. One may even ask: “How could you say there’s only one God?” Someone else may say that belief is all subjective, merely based on whatever feels true to them.

So yes, there are many different paths, and there are many doors, but One Door leads to God. There is only One Door that leads to the Creator; there’s only One Door leading to eternal life.

Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you,

I am the door of the sheep.

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.”
John 10:7, 27–28 NKJV

Maybe you’ve been seeking to know the Truth, or you’ve been longing to know your meaning on this Earth, and your purpose. Good news, look no further! It is all found in One Person!

One God, One Name, One Worthy of All Praise:
His name is Jesus, King of Kings, Lord of all Lords.
