and you have healed me.

My desire is for joy-full to be a ministry that makes you want more from God. That causes you to seek the things of the Kingdom, the things that rightfully are given to you as His child. This is also a place where I want to document not only what the Lord has been teaching me, but what He is doing in my life.
I often pray “Lord, make me Your testimony!” Do it all for me as I give You the glory.
Since receiving Christ last year, I have been arriving at the realization that He wants to heal me, save me, deliver me, but most of all He wants a (real)ationship with me. God’s grace (unmerited favor) is for me, as it is for you. We do not deserve it, but God’s lovingkindness doesn’t have to make sense to us, we just have to receive it!
Coming to this realization, I started to ask God for more! I had never seen a healing in my life, or even prayed earnestly for it, until my knowledge of God and His Word grew.
Every year without fail I would get symptoms that would make it hard to enjoy outside. Growing up with seasonal allergies wasn’t easy. When I got older, I would take allergy pills almost everyday! I wouldn’t even need to sneeze for me to take one, because I knew eventually it would happen.
I accepted it, and lived with it until I started attending two ministries that spoke about verses like:
- But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)
- Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:14)
Not knowing the word of God, not reading it for yourself will cause you to miss out on so much revelation!
So I used the Word of God like a prescription, as one woman of God said. His Word will NEVER return to Him void! And I am so glad that God made me a testimony!
I am here today, writing this in what the world is calling allergy season. I can breathe fresh air, I am now able to be in God’s creation without any sneezing, no allergy pills, or no symptoms at all! God did it! He came through for me for something I thought I would live with the rest of my life.
It was through praying the Word and fasting, that I saw healing with my own eyes. The Word says that ‘these kinds’ can only come out by praying and fasting. Prayer is powerful. Prayer changes things and His Word acts and moves!
I pray that this builds your faith to seek Him for healing! To seek Him for what you’ve maybe lived with your whole life. New creations shouldn’t stick with the old. He makes ALL things new!
Sometimes the toughest seasons are the biggest faith-building seasons for the Christian Believer. It’s in the valley that we remember to fear no evil, it’s in the waters that we remember they will never overcome us, it is in the trials that we remember to count it all joy because He will turn it around. Believe He will do it for you and watch God move.
